Do I Need A Pcr Test On Return From Spain?

Do I Need A Pcr Test On Return From Spain
Re: PCR or Antigen test to return – confusing announcement 1 year ago We go to Tenerife on 5th September. We both have received two vaccinations, proof shown on NHS Travel phone app. Having been double vaccinated we do not need pcr tests to leave UK. (Boris has ambiguously said, ‘but it’s advised’).

  1. Spain and it’s islands require the SpTH travel app, showing your location whilst there;
  2. Show proof of this at departure and arrival airport, If they bother to ask;
  3. Before returning to UK, within 72 hours of return we will have pcr tests at Tenerife, cheapest is €35 each;

Show proof of this at departure airport. Before returning to UK we will book pcr tests near home to be taken within 24 hours of arrival, at a cost of about £50 each. Show proof of this at departure airport, and UK if they bother to ask. On arrival we will show UK passenger locater app.

Within 24 hours attend for the pre booked pcr test I will also have printed all this rigmarole, as I do with online check in and boarding passes. Just hoping Jet2. com cancel and I get my flight money back.

If I’ve got any of this wrong I’m sure some better informed will advise.
