When Could Spain Go On The Green List?
New! 02/06/2022 – Health control measures no longer apply to travellers arriving in Spain by air or sea and who are citizens of the European Union or Schengen associated countries. More information. 23/05/2022 – Travellers from non-EU countries will be able to enter Spain from 21 May, showing a vaccination certificate, a recovery certificate or a negative diagnosis certificate at the entry control points to the country.

More information. 17/05/2022 – Land borders between Spain and the Kingdom of Morocco are being reopened at certain border crossing points in Ceuta and Melilla. In the first phase, only EU citizens or those holding a Schengen visa will be permitted to cross the border.

Check here for more information on this and other aspects of the new Resolution. 29/03/2022 – The requirement to have received a booster dose more than 270 from the date of administration of the last dose of the complete vaccination schedule shall not apply to minors over 12 and under 18 years of age.
They shall be considered fully vaccinated even if more than 270 days have elapsed without having had a booster dose. 15/03/2022 – The UK lifts all pandemic-related international travel restrictions as of 18 March. Tourists travelling to the UK will not need to take a Covid-19 test before travelling or after arrival, regardless of whether or not they have been vaccinated.

Find more information using the map on the home page. 14/03/2022 – As an exception and as a result of the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, people travelling from this country on a flight bound for Spain who can show they are Ukrainian nationals or residents should not be prevented from boarding the plane if they cannot show a QR code obtained from the SpTH application.
Upon arrival in Spain, nationals or residents of Ukraine who are not in possession of the SpTH QR code and who cannot provide the corresponding vaccination certificate, diagnosis test or recovery certificate, may undergo a test but without any form of complaint or fine being imposed.
Should more European countries be added to the Green List?
However, travel bosses are eager for more European countries to be added to the green list after more than a year of travel uncertainty. EasyJet boss John Lundgren said: ‘You have a number of countries in Europe that are now on the amber list that should go into the green list.
